Hemorrhoids | Hemorrhoid Artery Embolization (HAE)
Hemorrhoids, or piles, are enlarged veins located in the anus and lower rectum. They can form internally within the rectum, known as internal hemorrhoids, or externally under the skin around the anus, referred to as external hemorrhoids.
Hemorrhoid Artery Embolization (HAE)
Our Interventional Radiologist performs HAE, a minimally invasive procedure for grade one to three internal hemorrhoids on an outpatient basis in our San Jose office. The procedure is done under local anesthesia and sedation ("twilight sleep").
Our physicians specialize in providing consultations, diagnosing, and treating Hemorrhoids, with advanced treatments tailored to our patients' needs.
