Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) is surgery done through small incisions using miniaturized surgical tools and cameras or telescopes.

Interventional radiologists are better described as image guided surgeons. They use imaging equipment such as X-ray, MRI, Fluoroscopy, CT and Ultrasound to navigate and treat patients diseases without large incisions and general anesthesia, which results in quick recovery time.

Examples of procedures we perform are angioplasty, stenting, embolization, biopsies, drainages, tumor treatment, vertebral compression treatment, and much more.

Image guided surgery is an alternative to open surgery, which means, no large incision (minimal small incision), no stitches (A Band-Aid only), no general anesthesia, quicker recovery time.

Our office is located in San Jose, California in the Santa Clara County, South Bay Region of the Bay Area, also known as the Silicon Valley.
