My husband was seen here for a DVT in his leg. This was the last stop on our journey through diagnosis and treatment of his blood clots. In reality, this should have been the first stop for his treatment. Keeping it brief I’ll share our story. My husband had an ACL repair and because he is considered young and healthy he was not given blood thinners after surgery. About three weeks after his surgery, he developed symptoms of shortness of breath tightness in his chest and he just didn’t feel right. He was taken to the emergency room and admitted to a hospital in Fremont where they gave him Heparin drip for 48 hours, then given Eliquis in pill form to take home. Against our concerns the hospitalist just discharged him and sent him home. He had bilateral pulmonary embolism with a 4 cm saddle emboli with remaining 6” DVT in leg. They should have never sent him home like that. Thankfully we met Dr. Padidar who saw my husband for an urgent appointment same day and was able to schedule him the next morning to place a IVC filter to prevent remaining DVT from traveling through right ventricle and complete occlusion.
I would recommend seeking DVT treatment with Dr. Padidar to anybody who wants competent and current treatment. The most touching part about our experience is the fact that I had been asking and asking specialists if he had a DVT in his leg and already diminished lung function and heart function. What would stop the DVT in the leg from traveling up and killing my husband, specialist and doctors in the hospital kept on pacifying us by saying that’s very rare he’s young you’ll be fine. When I met Dr.Padidar he truly listened to our concerns and for the first time in this whole process , I teared up because I finally found somebody who treated my husband like his life mattered and who cared about the outcome of his health. The procedure went well and my husband was treated very kindly and respectfully by Sam who is a wonderful person and competent, healthcare professional, Jeffery, who called and checked on my husband for several days after his procedure. And I know there was several other people who helped in this process as well and I’m sorry that I don’t recall your name at this time but everybody was warm and professional. As an advocate myself, I know how important it is to have somebody to help you voice your concerns when you’re feeling ill and when you don’t have the strength. However, this is the one doctor I can truly say will be your advocate for you, if you don’t have one.

I brought my grandmother to MISS for a visit with Dr. Padidar. I was so impressed with his informative nature, he provided us with real medical details that we could comprehend. Our experience was five star! I was even more ecstatic to learn about their new imaging center, surgery center and lab center. I will soon be able to bring my grandmother to one location to get her lab work done, get any imaging she may need and her surgery procedure! All at MISS!
